WHO WE ARE!

Active World Health Foundation

Active World Health Foundation (AWOHF) is a duly registered Non-Government, Non-Profit Organization with the Government of the Federal republic of Nigeria. The organization works in partnership with notable local and Foreign organizations towards the health and social empowerment of the less priviledged in Nigeria, Africa and the World.

At AWOHF every one counts and a good health is key to Economic and Social Empowerment. Our Team of competent Professionals and Health Experts, works round the clock to develop Health and Social Programs that have impacted positively in the lives and Livelihood of the less priviledged and vulnerable people in our rural communities.

We are dedicated to an improved health development and well-being of the populace through the building of inclusive health-care service systems, to tackle health inequalities, and to also promote and raise the bar on psychology-based services and mental health.

More than Just an NGO Inclusive health...

There has always been a gentle nudge for public health, humanitarian and disaster interventions to address health inequalities. However, in recent times, it has become a vigorous push with governments now realizing that “inclusive health” approaches are needed to tackle health inequalities. Value-based efforts must be made to address the root causes.

For us at Active World Health Foundation, inclusive health is the new paradigm. Through “inclusive health”, health for all will indeed be achievable.
