About Us

The Active World Health Foundation (AWOHF) is a non-profit organization registered with the Federal Government of Nigeria under the Company and Allied Matter Act of 1990 with registration number: CAC/IT147127,the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)–SC No:151409993 and the Federal Ministry of Woman Affairs and Social Development (FMWSD) Ref No: FMWSD/GEN283/T. AWOHF core mandate is to take health care services to the needy and less privileged women, children, youths and adult in our remote rural communities most of whom lack basic primary health care facilities.
The organizations is driven by a well designed management structure made up of season professionals in the medical health, public health sectors and NGO Management with several years of experiences in community and social development. As part of delivery on its mandate, AWOHF actively participated in the distribution of palliatives donated by members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) and friends of the organization to the rural communities within Abuja-The Federal Capital Territory and environs.
